Research On The Teaching Application Of Life Material In High School Compulsory Chemistry Textbook

From 2019,the third batch of provinces has started new reform of The National College Entrance Examination.And so,new textbooks have emerged.The Chemistry Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)notes that chemistry curriculum should emphasize on its relationship life,production and social development.The word "life" appears more and more frequently in the requirements of education and teaching.Therefore,analysis on life materials in new textbook and how to apply them in teaching procedure are undoubtedly important for teachers.At present,the relevant research on life materials mostly focused on the teaching practice,while the analysis on life materials in textbooks were very rare,especially in the new version of textbooks(PEP 2019).In this work,we aim to study the life materials in new version textbook,and the teaching performance of them.Detailed statistics of the categories of life materials in the textbook and teaching practice based on that were fully discussed.Suggestions about adopting life materials in high school chemistry education under new status and requirements were finally presented.This paper mainly includes the following six parts:The first part,"Introduction",elaborated the reasons for the subject proposed in this paper,and the significance of researches on life materials in textbook.Through a large number of literatures,the research status of life materials was analyzed and the main methods used in this study were listed and explained.The second part,"Concept Definition and Theoretical Basis",explained and defined the concepts of life materials,life materials in chemistry textbooks and high school chemistry life-oriented teaching.Theoretical basis of this study were also discussed.The third part "Statistical analysis of the life materials in 2019 version compulsory textbook",showed the statistical analysis of content categories of the exiting life materials.As a result,the versatile life materials from different parts of the textbook could be divided into nine categories and thirteen sections according to their contents.The ratio of each category and plate was analyzed.The fourth part,"Investigation and Analysis of the Learning Situation of High School Chemistry Life Materials",a questionnaire survey was conducted to randomly investigate the attention of the life materials in the textbooks and the attitude of students to the combination of life and teaching in Zhuanghe No.4 Senior High School.The results showed that most students are very interested in the content of life materials in textbook,but have difficulties to understand some of the contents.The fifth part,"Teaching Practice Based on the Content of Life Materials in Textbooks",studied the function of life materials in textbooks.Furtherly,teaching practice of "Iron and its compounds" and the corresponding evaluation of the teaching results were conducted.At the same time,some teaching suggestions about the use of life materials were presented.The sixth part,"Conclusion and Introspection",summarized the life materials and teaching practice in high school chemistry course.Shortcomings of this paper and future development of this topic were concluded.The innovation of this research lies in: firstly,taking the new edition(PEP 2019)compulsory textbooks as research object;secondly,the life materials of textbooks were sorted out and then the characteristics of each category and section were analyzed.Furthermore,specific teaching case analysis was conducted.Based on the combination of the theory obtained in the early stage with the teaching practice,the life materials in textbooks of high school chemistry were studied from multiple angles in this paper,and corresponding teaching suggestions were put forward.
