With the continuous development of the new curriculum reform, the tremendous impact of the mathematics education in our country is becoming prominent. On one hand, it has promoted China's rapid development in science and technology;On the other hand, it also has a far-reaching impact on human's minds, psychology and emotion. Especially the current exam-oriented education overtly or covertly rules the mind of people. The negative effect of mathematics education on some people is becoming more and more obvious, even as some causes of tragedy;Therefore, with the study of mathematics education becoming more and more popular, it is necessary for us to think carefully and calmly about the current mathematics education.Referring to American psychologist Seligman's theory;The-Acquired Sense of Helplessness, this article carries on the analysis to the intrinsic and external causes ,which generates high school students' negative emotion in their learning mathematics by observation , questionnaire , conversation , individual study. It also makes a research into the cause of The Acquired Sense of Helplessness and its strategy of prevention and cure.
