Today the universities is the mostly basement of aerobic gymnastics in China. HuBei — one of the Provinces who has a lot of universities, what is the current situation of its aerobic gymnastics has become an investigative problem.On the basis of sports training theory and sociology, deeply analyzed the annual results of aerobic gymnastics of HuBei Province, the current situation of coaches and athletes, and the main factors of promoting and limiting the development of aerobic gymnastics in HuBei Province, by the methods of documentation questionnaire survey, statistics, expert interview and comprehensive investigation and so on, The main conclusions and countermeasures are as follows:1. It is important to heighten the level of HuBei aerobic gymnastics, trundle the permeation of commonage gymnastics, enhance the report of the school, foster the loftily person with ability for society, increase economical benefit for school.2. The ways of administration of HuBei high university aerobic gymnastics team can be distinguished by outer administration and inner administration. The way of funding HuBei high university aerobic gymnastics team is invariable and is mostly from the school. The stadium and sports equipment basically ensure the need of the training of aerobic gymnastics team, but the assistant equipment need to be improved. The degrees of leading recognition need to be reinforced.3. The age structure of aerobic gymnastics coaches in HuBei college is not reasonable, for example most coaches is younger one;besides, even they are high educated mainly graduated from junior college, their sports level is insufficient, therefore, they are lack of systematic training, which is a obstacle during training the high-level athletes. Speaking to the situation of the aerobic gymnastics players, they are mainly sophomore and junior and the gender-structure is reasonable, but their training period is short. At the present, the aerobic gymnastics players in HuBei are mostly the playersfrom other events such as gym, handicraft, wushu, and track and field. The build-up training of aerobic gymnastics needs to be strengthened.4. After analyzing the situation of HuBei high university aerobic gymnastics team, we found that there are several limiting factors. Firstly, the leadership didn't paid enough attention to aerobic gymnastics and the aerobic gymnastics association didn't do their job full-hearted;secondly, the training funds origin is unitary and the training condition needs to be enhanced, so the studies and training contradictory is prominent;thirdly, the trainers' school record level is high, but the movement level is somewhat low, the cultivation system of trainer is not perfect;fourthly, the training period is a little bit short, and the reserved talent needs to be enlarged;fifthly, not only is the propaganda of aerobic gymnastics insufficient, but the competition quantity is not enough;sixthly, lacking the interrelated information, besides, the union of training and scientific research need to be improved.5. According to the present situation and problems existed in HuBei Province universities aerobic gymnastics;we put forward some corresponding countermeasure separately from the point of management, training, competition and scientific research. The most important is to fully display the function of HuBei university aerobic gymnastics association, with enhancing the universities leadership's value to the athletics, increasing the funds source, and improving the training condition. What's more, systemic training is necessary, and the contradiction between study and train should be reasonably solved. What else we should do is as below: strengthening the athlete echelon construction, expanding the recruit of special skill student, strengthening the " one dragon " the system idea of combining the PE to education;perfecting the trainer cultivation system, strengthening the intercommunion between the trainers, the trainer and referee's;strengthening the organization and propaganda of competition;further consummating the competition system;displaying the universities superiority, strengthening the scientific research, and unifies the training and scientific research.
