This article through to the Henan sixteen colleges and universities sports education professional gymnastics curriculum teaching present situation investigation visit, investigation of gymnastics courses teaching content mainly involves the gymnastics teaching content, teaching hours, skills training, curriculum evaluation and assessment.The current situation:(1) The new level three set as teaching content can’t smooth implementation, part of theoretical teaching content is neglected, it affected the Henan province university sports education professional students comprehensive gymnastics teaching skill development.(2) Twelve colleges and universities in Henan province through gymnastics course of education practice to strengthen students teaching skills training, not only the education internship should be brought into the teaching content, and set the education internship process necessary for the teaching.(3) College gymnastics teaching in the common course of Henan province did not make full use of modern teaching technology means such as multimedia and images, most colleges don’t have video equipment and reserves.(4) Departments of Henan province using (Gymnastics theory knowledge+Physical fitness and gymnastics technology+Gymnastics skills+Performance at ordinary times) evaluation model, but some departments didn’t skill training should be brought into the teaching content and examination system, not fully embodies the objective and fair evaluation principle.(5) In the common course for nine sports colleges in Henan province gymnastics teaching hours below the specified minimum class eighty hours; Gymnastics theory teaching hours for a low proportion, thirteen departments under twenty class hours, only three departments of gymnastics theory class by more than20%of the total teaching hours. Suggestions:(1) In the common course for the gymnastics teaching content can be divided into three modules theory, technology, skills, new outline (level3) as a unified technology courses in the common course for the sports education specialized gymnastics teaching content is feasible.(2) Education practice gymnastics class into the teaching of physical education major teaching skills training necessary process, reasonable use of modern teaching technology, carries on the teaching reform and innovation continuously.(3) According to the theory of gymnastics courses target will, skills, technology and performance at ordinary times the proportion of four modules as3:3:3:1.(4) From the theory, technology, skills, three practice teaching modules, proposed more than130school hours are basic status of gymnastics course was fully embodies the basic guarantee of class time.(5) The first and second semester is gymnastics class to carry out the optimal period, guarantee to improve the quality of the body for the students.(6) Related department heads should give strong support, improve the gymnastics teaching environment. Hope these countermeasures and Suggestions for Henan province university sports education specialized gymnastics teaching reform construction to provide scientific theoretical basis for next step.
