A Research On Countermeasures For Shool-Based The Acher Training For Reflective Teachers

Reflective teachers are those who are able to think reflectively. They know what to think about and the methods to think with. They know the process and have formed the habit of reflective thinking. They are the unity of thinkers and people who carry it out. School-based teacher training is to promote the development of teachers and the school itself. The training is carried out by the schools and the resources in and outside the school are made full use of. The school is the basement, and the teachers are trained in their own school. It is dynamic, instructive and useful for the development of the teachers.My research is based on the attached primary school of Lanzhou Jiaotong University and its teachers. By means of investigating and with the aid of written materials of concerning documents, I try to investigate and analyze the state of teachers' ability in reflective thinking from the following three aspects: the contents, the methods and the process. I attempt to find the main elements that affect the development of the teachers' ability and try to make good preparations for the project of school-based teacher training.This research proves that in this school, the teachers' ideas lay behind; they are in short of the knowledge of their speciality, especially the practical training; they lack the co-operating and self-controling ability. Therefore it's necessary for them to be trained and improve themselves in these aspects and other fields. The process and methods are to be practised more. The evaluation system is not satisfying and the atmosphere is not suitable for the development of our teachers' ability of reflection. The conclusions are as the following: 1. Special attention should be paid to the plan. 2. Strengthen the different stages of reflective thinking.3. Build up the right evaluation system. 4. Cultivate the cultural atmosphere for the teachers' reflection.
