Education is the key element of the sustainable development ofhuman sooiety. With the fast development of social economic andtechnology, as well as the inorease of knowledge, skill and the valueof human oapital, the education is playing a more important role inour life, whioh results in the emergence of lifelong eduoation.Th i s paper takes the Iifelong eduoation in China as the main topio, and will analyze the present oonditions in the perspective of sustainable development. This paper aims to make clear the following three problems:(1) What is the lifelong eduoation;(2) The reasons of advooaoy of lifelong eduoation;(3) The ways of aotualization of lifelong eduoation.This paper makes a breakthrough from the limited domain of the traditional studies. Instead of using the oonventional measures, suoh as Pedagogy and Psyohology separately, this paper integrates the means of Eoonomios, Demography, Sooiology and Pedagogy as one, which makes possible the overall view this field. The discussion of this paper is mainly about:(1) The fundamental oonoeption of lifelong eduoation;(2) Analysis the environment factors which effect the lifelong eduoation;(3) The analysis of present conditions and proposals of the construction of lifelong eduoation system in China.The ohief conolusions of this paper are as followings.
