Study On The Development Strategy Of Transportation Vocational Education

Since China is at the important stage of developing the country into a rich and modernized one, the vocational education is also stepping into a period of deep reform and quick development. With the implement of new development strategy, the adjustment of industrial structure and the scientific & technological advances, the vocational education in transportation is facing new task and demand. It becomes an important part of the national vocational education and transportation modernization. It takes on the responsibility to cultivate and develop the high quality working staff in production, management and service. The inner and outer circumstances have greatly changed in order to meet the new opportunity and challenge. It is necessary to study the development strategy of transportation vocational education in order to meet the need of personal resources development and to adapt the new system and exert the main branch function, so the transportation vocational education can be finally promoted onto a consistent, healthy and steady road.By absorbing the research fruit and summarizing the experiences and through the analysis on the present condition and the comparison home and abroad, a long-term complete and deep scientific discussion has been put forward starting with the analysis on the social & economical development and the industry background, and from the point of view which concerns the correspondence of the inside and outside educational situation. The strategic target and the corresponding measures are made out. Based on the study the charging department can make decision and frame the layout, and the vocational education academies and organizations can set the developing orientation and take it as a reference to the reform and development.I took the methods of interviewing, comparing, case-analyzing and literature studying to fulfill this research work.The thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter one is about the aim, significance, content and method of this research, which provides the overall thought and basic frame. Chapter two is the study on the present condition of the transportation vocational education development. Chapter three emphasizes the comparison of the vocational education home and abroad which includes thepattern, developing trend, characteristics, and the inspiration to our education. Chapter four analyzes the macro background and need which predicts and analyzes the social and industrial background and the requirement to persons with ability. Chapter five is about the strategic target which is composed of the directing idea, basic principle, the target and the keystone. Chapter six provides the measure to realize this strategy.
