In order to build a life-learning system and society, from 1998, some universities in our country began to develop modern higher distance education. Besides some peculiarities of it are different from the traditional higher education, it's particular point is that it puts industry-running into practice unalterably, and grope for realization mode of industrialization.Because of the industry attribute of the modern higher distance education, it's foundation supplied by it's amplitude market, it's object attributes which are different from the traditional higher education and it's double attributes of industry and public undertaking and their mutual effects, it can actualize industrialization.To the education, economy and social development, we put industry running to university modern higher distance education into practice will have a very import meaning.At present, modern higher distance education has formed the industrialization patterns of "main body running a school "and "service system",which present differently and have their own advantages and disadvantages. To develop the industrialization mode which suit the fact of modern higher distance education in our country, we should obey the principia of integrating education running rules and industry running rules, the principia of integrating society benefit and economy benefit, etc.How to promote the industrialization development of university modern higher distance education, we should build up a correct concept of industrialization development, build a new relations between education and economy, quicken the constructing of social supervision, authentication, evaluation system and strengthen the constructing of service system and so on.
