| At present, education-developed countries have accumulated a lot of experience on sports club system, and the practice of the countries has adequately proved: it is quite correct for the universities physical education to adopt the club system. But in the foreign countries, their physical education, from preschool education to the high school education, mainly bases particularly on training students both the sports skills and the health value sense of movement simultaneously, and they emphasize the nurturance of body-building habits, so it follow a rational line for university physical education to adopt club system. While the elementary education and secondary education of china lay particular stress on the sports technology study and body diathesis of students, the education on students heath value sense of physical education lags far behind foreign similar education level, therefore, we can'timitate the foreign sports education pattern. We should find a way which suits our countrys present education national conditions. Nowadays, we should strengthen the sports health value sense of university students further, so it could be the best way to adopt the sports club system. According to our research, these clubs are different from the general amateurish club. For the case of deepening physical education reform, it is quite necessary to research the aim, quality, and form of the sports clubs, and study whether they are useful to teaching, training and enriching the spare time. Shandong is one of the provinces which have a large number of universities, so regarding universities of Shandong as the research objects should be representative. In order to explore the prospect of the university sports club of our country, I made an investigation and analysis to the actuality and character of the university sports club of Shandong province.Considering the distribution of the universities in Shandong, I used the literature and information method, investigation method of the questionnaire, visit and investigation method and data statistic method to research. The research objects are the clubs or the sports institutes, sports teams of such universities as Liaocheng University, Qingdao University, Jinan University, Shandong University and so on. The sports institutes and the sports teams have the characters of club. For example, their forms, activity content , members and the source of outlay are similar to club. By inquiring and interviewing many sports teachers and sports administration staffs, I probed into the university sports clubs deeply. I designed questionnaire from five aspects such as the aim, quality and form of clubs, the motivation of the studentswho join in the clubs, the number of the member in each club, the teaching station of the clubs or institutes, the problems and solution. From the beginning to the end of September of 2003,1 put out 1000 questionnaires to the universities and reclaimed 970, soothe reclaim rate was 97%. And there were 950 effective questionnaires, so the effective rate was 95%. After accepting the advice of faculty adviser and correlative experts, I modified the questionnaire, so the question on the questionnaire can reflect the content of this task. According to the test, the availability and credibility of the questionnaire can fulfill the requirement.According to the research to the clubs of part universities in Shandong province, I think that club system is from which is fit for the actuality of China university sports education situation and it should be extended. Being lack of fund , the disfigurement of sports teachers' knowledge and the faulty item setting are the main problems of the university clubs. Strengthening the mechanism of club management is the key to the sustainable development of club.
