The new senior school physics curriculum criteria in April,2002 stated out, ".......Theimplementation of the curriculum lays emphasize on self-oriented learning and advocates the variety of teaching methods." However, most of the physics teachers feel that there is still no specific instruction to cultivate the students' self-oriented learning. The classroom teaching method in normal school should be as good as a model to be followed by the graduates when they teach in the primary schools.Through extensive research of the documents on self-oriented learning at home and abroad, the subject has formed a teaching method as to enhance the self-oriented learning based on humanism, constructivism and the achievement of other persons. It's proved to be feasible by the author's experiment. Through the experience of other person, pre-reading, stimulation, lead-in, according to the curriculum, presentation, independent selection, discussion, group working, report of the result, check answers, draw a conclusion, multi-assessment, examination in different level, feedback, giving out the answers, correction, homework and revision, the author made formula of teaching in normal school. Also the author made an experiment by choosing two classes of the same level as samples(class six and class eight), one of the class is set for experimental class and the other is set for comparative class. By giving different ways of teaching, the students responded differently after two months training. The experimental class shows better results than the comparative class according to mathematical analysis and questionnaires in the experimental class after the experiment, and the experiment enhanced the students' interest in learning physics. The experiment shows the teaching mode can be extended in normal school.The experiment shows that normal school physics classroom teaching of the self-oriented learning has following effects:1. It enables the students to be the main part of the teaching activity.2. It helps the students form a good habit of learning and know how to study efficiently.oriented learning in normal school physics classroom and to build up the ideology of the student-centred classroom teaching.This research will be useful for the teachers to change their teaching methods, and be helpful for the students to learn with more interest, so as to master the basic concepts, laws of physics actively and efficiently.
