The test brought about by traditional education only reports a simple score to parents and students. It loses large amounts of important information as an evaluation means to measure students. Based on the person-fit study, this dissertation aims at classifying the students' response patterns to the test items into the all kinds of possible scientific ideal reaction modes by application of rule space model in light of cognitive aspects, thus we'll get to know which kind of knowledge students acquire and which students do not. The thesis also gives a comparison between a person-fitindex l= and another person-fit index of rule space model through factual datum. Therefore the paper arrives at a conclusion that the classifying results of both the indexes have their similarity, difference, advantages and disadvantages and rationalization. What's more, two person-fit indexes' difference isn't very large except the sign is opposition. This agrees with the foreign experts' opinion that there is a hign relation among person-fit indexes. The results offers scientifically evaluation basis for the performance of teaching, education evaluation and quality education. Teachers can adopt some very effective measures to rectify various students according to the diagnostic results.
