With the startup of the New Curriculum Reform of Basic Education in our country, School-based Curriculum Development increasingly becomes hotspot. Junior high school education is the basic stage of school education, an important period of developing mentality and intelligence, mastering knowledge, cultivating ability for junior high school students, a connecting link between the preceding and the following, and a key period of improving the country's literacy and their whole quality. Rural junior high school education not only directly relates to the whole development of body and mind of rural adolescent, but also relates to the cultivation of all kinds of talents and the development of the whole nation's quality. From the investigation and analysis of the actualities of rural junior high school curriculum in our country, to the present problems of rural junior high school education, in this dissertation, we discuss the necessity and the realistic foundation of School-based Curriculum Development of rural junior high school, and analyze its influential factors . On the basis of analysis, we discuss the implementary strategies and requests of School-based Curriculum Development of rural junior high school, in order to provide theoretic and practical reference for School-based Curriculum Development of vast rural areas.This dissertation consists of six parts.Part one is a preface. We set forth mainly about the reasons, thoughts, methods of this research, and also some explanations for this research.Part two is a summarization of School-based Curriculum Development. We analyze the background, conception and characteristics of School-based CurriculumDevelopment.Part three is a call of rural junior high school for School-based Curriculum Development. We explore its necessity, realistic foundation, and analyze its particularity.Part four is an analysis of the influential factors during the implement course of School-based Curriculum Development. Based on the existing theoretical frame, combining with the realistic instance of several rural junior high schools in the east of Henan Province, we analyze the influential factors of School-based Curriculum Development in rural junior high school from the interior school and exterior school aspects.Part five is a realization mechanism of School-based Curriculum Development in rural junior high school. Based on the characteristics of rural junior high school education, we mainly explore and discuss the adaptation of implementary strategies, and put forward my thinking on implementary strategies of School-based Curriculum Development of rural junior high school, in order to explore an approach to School-based Curriculum Development of rural junior high school.Part six is an epilogue. It is a long exploring course to implement School-based Curriculum Development, especially in rural areas, there are still some problems that need us to explore and think.
