Physical Education is an important part of school Education, which is an indispensableway to get comprehensive development of mental and physical health and social adaptability.Now, with the vigorous implementation of quality education and steady advancement ofcurriculum reform, a new round of "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard "clearly show that developing curriculum resources actively is an important part of implatingprogram successfully.Besides developing a variety of curriculum resources effectively canmake the educational curriculum resources have the advantage to make into full play andmake the courses’ special local characteristics more manifested. Because of the researchingof the national and traditional sports curriculum resource is very important, so thedevelopment of the traditional and national sport curriculum resources effectively is not onlycan conducive to push the teaching of school sports better, but also is an active and effectiveway to improve the Quality of physical education.In this paper, the literature, interviews, questionnaires, field trips and mathematicalstatistics and other research methods have been used to research the development of thephysical education curriculum’s resources of junior high school in rural areas taking the placein Qinglong County, Hebei Province for example. based on previous studies, followingwork were carried out: the relational concept of traditional sports, curriculum resources,physical education curriculum resources were defined; the present situation of traditionalethnic sports curriculum resources of junior high school in rural areas in Qinglong County,Hebei Province was investigated and analyzed; the elements of traditional national sportscourses and the feasibility of the path of PE curriculum resource development were conductedin a survey analysis.The results showed that:1. Traditional Ethnic Sports Curriculum Resources with colorful content and variety offorms, can enrich the content of school education.More importantly, the traditional nationalsport will be handed down from generation to generation, to ensure that the national andtraditional sports will not be lost, once they are introduced into school teaching.2. Although a wide variety of traditional national sport, but the school still has fewer projects. Its degree of importance to the development of school leaders are less obvious,physical education teachers to their level of understanding and ways to acquire knowledgevaries, but most students prefer, also suitable for Physical Education.3.National and traditional sports conducts well in civil, with a strong ethnic and regionalcharacteristics,while because of the introduction of western competitive sports, making thedevelopment of national traditional sports is extremely slow.4. Suited to carry out national traditional sports school sports teaching is feasible, onecan enrich the teaching content, in order to mobilize the enthusiasm of students. On the otherhand can also enable students to national consciousness is enhanced, the national culturepassed on, will develop out of the university’s sports features.
