With the policy of reform and opening-up, education in China has made great achievements which helps to shorten the distance between China and developed countries. However, it is imperative to carry out the educational innovation in the knowledge-based economy, both from the philosophical and psychological angles and from the angle of traditional educational theory and the practice of quality-oriented education. Creative teachers are indispensable in this innovation. Therefore, as the cradle of primary school teachers, normal schools have a long and hard way togo. Through the investigation by questionnaire, practical research anddocumental research, this thesis briefly analyzes the theoretical basis of innovative education, as well as pointing out the necessity and importance of training innovative teachers of course of ideology and politics in normal schools. It lays emphasis on the research of constitution of innovative teachers' quality. Furthermore, it draws on the experiences of educationally developed areas and brings forward the ways of training innovative teachers of course of ideology and politics in normal schools.
