The new curriculum reform of basic education is to change the focus from past practice of knowledge transferring to forming active attitudes of the students toward learning so that the students experience the process of establishing a correct value system in the process of learning basic knowledge and basic skills. The new curriculum reforms the receptive styles of rote memory, and mechanical training, encourages the students to have hand-on experience, in exploration of knowledge, learn to search for, acquire and process new information. The students are also trained to develop the ability of critical analysis, problem solving, communication and cooperation. So it is important mission to transform passive and simple learning mode and to promote autonomous, inquiry and cooperative learning.To transform learning mode relates not only to the success of the curriculum reform and our education quality, but also to the development of our country and every student. The thesis summarized the learning mode of new curriculum. Then thesis discussed how to transform the learning mode in the new chemistry curriculum. And then the thesis gave a practical case, so that the new curriculum reform of basic education can be advanced.In part one, the whiter defined learning mode, discussed its characteristics and distinguished learning mode from learning method. Then the thesis discussed the abuse of traditional learning mode and the superiority of new learning mode in order to explain why the new curriculum promotes and emphasizes autonomous learning, inquiry learning and cooperative learning. In addition, the thesis discussed emergence, meaning, theory foundation and practice method of learning mode of the new curriculum. It is theory foundation of part two and partthree.The part two discussed how to transform the learning mode in the new chemistry curriculum. It is important point of this thesis. The writer put forward some advices about how to transform learning in the new chemistry curriculum of basic education. First in order to transform learning mode of students, the writer thinks that we should construct a chemistry learning environment that suits autonomous, inquiry and cooperative learning. It is the precondition of transforming learning mode. Second, chemistry is a subject based on experiment, so chemistry experiment instruction is the necessary approach to transform the learning mode. Third, reforming evaluation system of chemistry instruction is important guarantee to the transformation of learning mode.The part three is a practical case of the learning mode of the new chemistry curriculum. The writer analyzed thoroughly the new chemistry textbook of compulsory education, and thought it suited completely the learning mode of the new chemistry curriculum. Then the writer gave a practical case of law of conservation of mass. The conclusion is that the learning mode of the new curriculum is useful not only in theory but also in practice, and it is popular with students.
