Peer relationships is an important part of human relation. The peer relationships during juvenile period not only has very close relation to psychological heath of the middle school students, but affects their adapive ablity to society as well. Now the research, especially carried out systematically, on peer relationships of middle school students is rare.As to RE education in middle school, it has important practical sense to increase the participating motive of students, improve the exercise environment and enhance the peer relationships of students. Based on psycological, sociological and P.E. theory, and carried out by means of education experiment, hereafter research aimed to discuss the influence of group P.E. exercise to peer relationships of middle school students.The main part of this report has two sections: research and experiment. The research result indicated that:1) Overall level of peer relationships of girls is higher than boys, mainly shown in lower selfishness and loneliness level. Boys have stronger peer trend than girls have.2) Overall level of peer relationships of junior school students is higher than senior school students, mainly shown in lower selfishness and loneliness level. Communication ability and peer trend of junior schoold student is stronger than senior students. Juniors also have better assisting thought than seniors.3) Boys are more enthusiastic than girl, as juniors to seniors, to take part in group activitities. The different enthusiasm to join group activities also lead to different levels of selfishness of middle school students - Those students who are enthusiastic to join group activities has lower selfishness level and lower self-center trend relatively in overall human relations.4) Middle school students prefer group sports like balls or games. Those students who like group sports have higher level of social boldness.5) Boys join more sports than girls, especially group sports. Those students who like sports have higher overall level of human relation and lower selfishness and loneliness.The experiment study show:1) Individual sports affect little to overall peer relationships, level of social boldness, and level of loneliness of middle school students, but affect negatively to level of selfishness, in other word, self-center trend.2) Group sports improve the overall peer relationships and selfishness level, but affect little to social boldness and loneliness level. After experiment, the team replacing the court member frequently in group sport improved the overall peer relationships and social boldness level significantly; while the team fixing the court numbers in group sport improved the selfishness level significantly but gain little effect on overall human relation, social boldness and loneliness level improvement.3) The provocation of group sports improved the peer relationships, especially the self-center trends control, significantly.
