The government use laws, policies and finances to standardize private schools. Because of advocation and standard of the government, both quantity and quality of private schools improved greatly during the Republic of China. The improvement benefited educational popularization, adding educational investment, pushing educational diversity and improving people's sense of participation in. So it had great meanings.
