Curriculum organization is the basic theoretical problem which has been, regarded in theoretical and practical circles. Nevertheless, China has carried out the centralized policies for a long time, and many rules are fixed, such as what subjects to set in schools and how to organize subjects and so on. In this way, the researches into the problems of the curriculum organization in china are not wide and deep, and the published treatises are mostly restricted to certain questions, for example, how the optional subjects will be set and what the proportion of each subject is during teaching.As the national three-leveled curricular administrative system has been established, authorities to arrange the curriculum have been assigned gradually to the local governments and schools, It is possible to enhance curricular diversity. As a matter of fact, this point should be embodied first in the curriculum organization: how to understand furthermore the organization and how to adjust it in practice to the unbalanced educational development of our nation.This paper is going to give a theoretically systematic treatment on the problems of the curriculum organization. It will bring up many new views basing on some fulfilled studies. This paper will choose in a vertical range to compare these studies and make a particularintroduction to the development that the curriculum organization of thecompulsive education maintains in recent five decades.Its content refers to the reformational background, the goals and the curriculum organization itself. It is also trying to disclose the regular characteristics during the development of the curriculum organization, so as to come up with the valuable suggestions for the new round of reforming the curriculum organization of the compulsive education. The new curriculum reform of our nation is just under way, and support in theory and in practice will be vital for us to solve all kinds of problems in the process. It being a systematic project, we are supposed to adhere to confidence and to strive cooperatively on the long and workhard way.
