This article discussed the theoretical development and concept and characteristics concerning exploration teaching. It analyzed its feasibility in the Junior biological class teaching which is corresponding with the aim of aptitude education.The author who was instructed by exploration teaching theories started her studies in the Junior biological class. Students' exploration abilities are fostered by series of activities of guiding them discover, analyze the problems; making guess and hypothesis; communicate, discuss and solve the problem. Therefore, an one-term teaching experiment was conducted. It aims to prove whether the method adopted in the experiment was efficient as to increasing the students' interest, developing their creativity after being evaluated and compared.Two teaching classes were taken from Junior 1, Xi'an No.46 Middle School. One was experimental class; the other was compared class. Each class has forty students. In the experimental class the teacher followed two major procedures to conduct her teaching: Students discover the problem. Students explore and solve the problem.During the teaching, the theories were not presented to the students directly but were dealt with by them. In the compared class, traditional teaching method was adopted instead.By this way, the result of the eperiment turned effective. It increased students' interest in biological class, develop student' creativity and promoted the development of student' thinking ability.
