A Research On Application Of Multimedia In Teaching Materials Of Biology In Middle School

In this paper, it was investigated, analyzed and appraised that the situation of multimedia was applied to biology teaching and its materials in all levels and types of middle schools, Fujian Province. Method of questionnaire research, literature search and visit to find out it was adapted to the study. According to the development of multimedia technology in teaching, in teaching material and in biology teaching, designed a serious of questions. Then distributed the question paper to 200 biology teachers in all levels and kinds of middle schools in Fujian Province. After retrieved all answer papers the author statistically analyzed the situation and reason that multimedia technology in middle school抯 biology teaching materials is being used in our province. Base on the result of this investigation, the author searched and checked papers in The Papers?Copies of People 憇 University to find out the theme on multimedia biology teaching. Moreover, visit and talk with some biology teachers of Sanming No 1 middle school, No3 middle school and No9 middle school was involved. Results of the questionnaire research, literature search and visit indicated that the application of multimedia technology in middle school biology teaching materials in these schools was too simple, and electrical audio visual teaching materials can not suit for the teaching. The teachers hope they can use Integral Ware to make course ware. Although the literal parts of middle school teaching materials are fit for today抯 teaching need, it is still necessary to improve the sphere of application of multimedia teaching n,aterial.c. To improve the application of multimedia technology in ii ? middle school biology teaching materials, the following four points should be stressed: (1) we should enhance the kinds of the letter material of middle school biology teaching material, (2) we should enhance multimedia technology in middle school biology teaching practice; (3) we should enhance the contact between the multimedia technology and the letter materials of biology teaching; (4) we should establish good resources for making multimedia course ware. The result of the study will accumulate valuable materials for better middle school抯 biology multimedia teaching in the future.
