Research On The Design Of Performance Management Index System In Middle School Based On BSC

With the development of the knowledge-driven economy, school education is facing new challenges, and the reform & development of basic education become a matter of urgency, so strengthen and improve the school management system is the inevitable choice of basic education to reform and develop. Performance management has provided a new perspective to school management in basic education, as a powerful tool to improve the performance of the organization and an important means to promote the capacity of the staff. The paper introduces performance management into middle school, and tries to build an index system of performance management in middle school based on the balanced scorecard.The paper includes four parts. The first part introduces the concept, characteristics, theoretical foundations of performance management, and the structure of performance management, and the models of performance management, such as key performance indicator, the balanced scorecard, 360-degree feedback evaluation. In the second part, through analysing the similarities and differences of performance management applies to business and education, and aiming at the actual situation of R middle school, to find the feasibility of the implementation of performance management based on the balanced scorecard in R middle school, and summarize the opportunities and problems of the implementation of performance management based on the balanced scorecard in R middle school. In the third part, aiming at the actual situation of R middle school, to adjust the structure of the enterprise balanced scorecard, and design the structure of balanced scorecard for school. Although the dimensions of the balanced scorecard are still customer, internal processes, learning & growth and financial, however, when setting indexes, fully taking into account the uniqueness of the school and the strategic development planning of school, to construct the index system of performance management in middle school based the balanced scorecard. The fourth part summarizes and concludes the study of the paper.
