As a sport which has a significant pertinence, long-term practice has proved that the orientation movement could improve the living skills of the normal people, especially the ability of direction senses, searching the targets and the living ability in the field. The study introduce the orientation training into the special people area, it finds that the orientation training can significantly increase the attention, memory and social adaptability of the medium intellectual disability.The study summarizes the relevant concepts and research in borne and abroad by the method of Literature Review first.Secondly, the study describes the experimental means. before and after the interfere train, this search passed four tests to embody special orient training's impact for mid-degree mentally retarded sufferer vision attention, audition attention and memory and community orientation capability respectively. The study adopted the double color recognize experiment, double listen and the memory break experiment, the social adaptability adapted the community orientation capability test quantity table.At last , the study analyze the result by logical analysis and mathematical statistics method. About the attention, the study found that the visual attention and the auditory attention ability of the participants changed significantly.About the memory, the study found that the memory of the participants changed significantly. About the social adaptability, the study found that the sensorimotor , the language, the social responsibility, the sense of direction and the personal orientation of the participants changed significantly, it proved that the training works, but the treatment and the work skills ability of the participants did not changed significantly, it proved that it did not work.
