| According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development,teachers’ working hours reflect teachers’ working environment,and their utilization degree directly affects teachers’ work efficiency and even living conditions.As a special group in the teaching staff,teachers in special school for intellectual disability will have an important impact on the growth of children with special needs,and further affect the development of special education,which requires urgent attention and care from the outside world.Teachers in special school for intellectual disability,as a special group in the teaching staff,are directly related to the development of special education and the growth of children with special needs,and urgently need the attention and care of the outside world.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the current situation and predicament of teachers in special school for intellectual disability working hours and help them improve their work experience and quality of life.This study focuses on the current situation,predicament and causes of working hours for teachers in special school for intellectual disability.The study consists of two parts: the first part of the study took 247 teachers in special school for intellectual disability as the research object,and used the self-compiled "Questionnaire on the Status of Working Hours of Teachers in Special School for Intellectual Disability" to explore teachers in special school for intellectual disability.Status of working hours.The second part of the study used the self-edited "Interview Outline of Teachers in Special School for Intellectual Disability Current Situation of Working Hours" to interview 6 teachers in special school for intellectual disability to gain an in-depth understanding of teachers’ working time dilemma and its causes.The study found that there are three main problems in the working hours of teachers in special school for intellectual disability: one is that teachers work long hours and the boundaries are blurred,and teachers are prone to burnout;Busy;third,the distribution of working time is unreasonable,and teachers lack professional development time at their own discretion.Further research found that the main reasons for the dilemma of working hours for teachers in special school for intellectual disability come from the teacher level,school level and social level: students in teachers in special school for intellectual disability education are special,and teachers in special school for intellectual disability are in the team The construction has not yet been perfected,and the professional standards have not yet been clarified;the school’s arrangements and plans for teachers’ professional development need to be improved,and the corresponding equipment and guarantees are not complete;some parents avoid family education,and the education administrative department over-interferes,resulting in the generalization of teachers in special school for intellectual disability.Based on the research results,this study puts forward corresponding suggestions from four aspects: teachers,schools,parents,and educational administrative departments: teachers should adjust their mentality,strengthen time planning,and improve time management capabilities;schools should improve management systems and provide corresponding supporting facilities;Parents should clarify family education responsibilities and do a good job in home-school cooperation;education administrative departments should provide resource support and policy guarantees. |
