Shanghai aging population, the number increasing annually, how to ease the problem of the elderly population and their healthy lifestyles become the focus of life, from the point of view function of sports and sports-specific fitness value to ease the pressure of an aging society provides an important means.This first-hand information through field visits are summarized in Chongming of Shanghai, Kagoshima of Japan and the status of the elderly population, health status, level of physical fitness activities, hobbies, projects, sports venues, sports consumption and the impact of Physical Activity analysis of the main factors, then the county of Chongming and the two old people in Kagoshima Sports In comparison. Kagoshima in Japan to identify and Chongming, the status of the elderly physical fitness differences and similarities.Through literature, interviews, questionnaires, statistics and other methods of Kagoshima Prefecture and the elderly in Chongming Physical Activity Survey and comparison of the current situation, the followingconclusions:1 Chongming and Kagoshima based on good natural conditions , historical and cultural atmosphere, the elderly keen to participate in physical fitness activities. Both of the elderly are involved in pre-physical fitness activities in the largest, the elderly proportion of participation in physical fitness activities decreased gradually.2 The elderly participation in physical fitness activities, different gender, number of people involved in physical fitness activities are not the same. Older persons in time of physical fitness activities is the performance of the elderly in Kagoshima for the longer, lower frequency, low intensity; and mainly the elderly favorite sports are less vigorous exercise, row mainly in front of tai chi, jogging, and then the community fitness activities in Chongming. Popular in recent years the elderly to exercise the muscles, fitness gym in second place, while the site golf, croquet and slopes away Kagoshima, the elderly are also more popular sport. In addition there are golf, hiking and fishing exercise program showed a tendency to diversify.3 Participate in physical fitness activities in elderly people are less motivated in Chongming and Kagoshima, mainly for exercise, and Chongming is in second place in the entertainment, hobbies, and Kagoshima to increase social interaction. Different peoples in different parts of the physical fitness purposes are different.4 Chongming, the consumption level of sports than older Kagoshima sports consumption level of older persons, 91% of the Chongming to a park or community-based elderly fitness-based, less use of sports venues, sports venues and other business sports venues and the elderly have not been able to attract more exercise.
