Research On Social Software In Online Course Resource Construction

In recent years, the rapid development of network technology has a more significant impact on all aspects of social life, especially in the part of online course resource construction. Among of them, the extensive application of social software is particularly prominent. Therefore, we could survey some phenomena which are existed in online course resource construction from more perspectives, basing on a wide range of network technology. Specifically, this paper attempts to integrate social software into the online course resources to solve the problems existed in resource construction. Therefore, on the basis of the analysis for the characteristics of them, we could explore the design and implementation of social software in resource construction from the view of its characteristics, and focus on the application of the relevant key features.Firstly, this paper analyzes the main features of social software and problems of course resources construction in the current network at present. The results show that online course resource construction have some problems in the part of availability, individuation, degree of update, interoperability and so on, while it can provide new inspiration in some ways, combining with the characteristics of social software. Such as making use of Blog to expand the amount of resources; accelerating the use of resource personalized with RSS; promoting resource evaluation with social bookmarking and so on, and then provide a theoretical basis for the other chapters.Secondly, according to the above analysis, the article presents function module of online course resource based on the social software, and expatiates on the prototyping module and its main function. In order to enhance the quality of course resources, the prototype makes Wiki as the core structure, uses Tag, RSS and other technologies in it to address the update, classification and evaluation of issues related to interoperability. And it designs an online course called "computer network" as an inspiration for the feasibility of social software in online course resource construction.Finally, this study describes the harvest and the deficiency simply, and forecasts directions and points of research in the future. Although this study is not perfect and needs further improvement, we hope it will play inspiration for the study.
