The Comparative Study On Parental Anxiety From Mother In Young Children Aged 0-1

In china, the quick development of economy leaded to the fierce competition in people's lives and work and common pressure in people's Psychology. People considered the twenty-one century as an age of anxiety. Parental anxiety was a psychological factor which was typical and universal. Moderate anxiety contributed to parenting effectiveness, but excessive parental anxiety leaded to the excessive worry about child development from parent, the excessive focued on child, excessive expectancy to child in psychology, excessive disappointment and vicious circle in the end.Pregnancy and childbirth were important things for women. In the process, the physiology of woman experienced a quick change in Biology, Sociology and emotion in the stage which was a Psychological Crisis. The mother who had a child who was less than one-year old not only adapted to the natural change after giving birth and Psychological change, but also took on all kinds of pressures of multiple trend. So in the stage, mother was easier to suffer from the problems of parental anxiety.Nowadays, most study from abroad and home focued on the field of medical science, including the nutrition, disease, health, nursing and depression of lying-in woman. In child, with the development of early education, it was urgent to put more knowledge about Maternal health and nursing into the knowledge about maternal care and health. The study found the present study about parental anxiety from mother who had a child less than one-year old is not optimistic, and the comparison between different areas was so less.This study focued on three different areas and cities including Shanghai, Yuncheng City in Shanxi and Ningling County in Henan. The self-compiled Questionnaire was according to the self-evaluation about anxiety from Sun and related document. The Questionnaire which included nine dimensions and thirty six questions surveys two hundred fifty mother who had a child one-year old including one hundred and twenty five mothers from Shanghai, sixty three mother from Shanxi and sixty two from Ningling. The results as follows:First, parental anxiety of mother from these places had significant difference because of mother's age, family structure and parental style;Second, parental anxiety of mother from these places had significant difference because of different children months;Third, parental anxiety of mother from these places had significant difference because of different parental culture, jobs and family economic standard.The researcher proposed suggestions as follows according to the results above:First, grandparents should strength the support to parents, and the media and the organization should strength the publicity of parental knowledge and channels of training in Shanghai;Second, the feeding support for mother should show the features from family structure and parental style in Yuncheng and Ningling;Third, mothers who will be mothers or just be mothers should master the physical and psychological characteristics of infant in different months in shanghai Yuncheng and Ningling;Fourth, the organization of child-care service from Yuncheng and Ningling should spread the feeding knowledge, and fathers should improve the mastery about feeding knowledge;Fifth, the family who was ready for having baby should prepared the funds in order to remove the worries from mother in pregnancy and Breast-feeding.
