With the implementation of the new curriculum reform, that gradually prominent some new teaching methods, and experiential teaching is a new concept of teaching methods. Experiential teaching can through various situation experience activities to carry out teaching activities, with "situation" as media, with "experience activities" as means to obtain knowledge, to make the students grow and develop in the experience. Experiential teaching is a kind of teaching values, teaching methodology and teaching strategies and methods based on experience for basic characteristics. Thus, in experiential teaching, establishment of teaching situation and the student experience is particularly important. With the development of information technology, people's modes of production and life changed, teaching and learning methods are also changing. The application of information technology, including computer technology, multimedia technology, computer network technology and communication technology in the teaching increasingly wide and deep, use advanced technology to create realistic virtual learning environment becoming a new trend. But now create virtual learning environment controlled by the keyboard and mouse, immersion and sense of immediacy weakly. The emergence of somatic games make participants can through the body to feel, through the body movement control virtual scene changes. Here, we can use virtual reality technology and sensors, creating 3d combined somatic learning environment.This paper uses the virtual reality technology based on OpenGL, creating 3d virtual learning environment, in order to better serve the experiential teaching. Experience in teaching factualism is the most basic characteristics, and make students personally participated experience activities, through their own experiences meaning construction of knowledge. In order to create virtual learning environment can enhance the learners' immersed sense, let learners better participation to experience activities, and promoting the subjectivity of the play, in this paper, using sensors and microcontroller, creating 3d body feeling learning environment, learners can through the body movement change control 3d scene, rather like the previous through the keyboard and mouse to control, make experiential got obvious enhancement.This paper first introduces the experiential teaching and virtual reality technology in education research status of the application of 3d, then somatic learning environment related theory and the essential technology, some research and analysis on the basis of overall 3d somatic environment from several aspects design, final introduced the system realization, including outdoor and indoor scene, the establishment of the 3DS model drawing and import, user roaming control realization and the realization of serial communication.
