With the rapid development of science and technology,people's reading and viewing habits continue to change,and digital and visual information transmission methods gradually occupy a dominant position,marking the arrival of the era of visual culture.Nowadays,under the influence of the visual culture,the art appreciation education in high schools will gradually change from a traditional picture-oriented art appreciation method to a more diversified and digital appreciation model.In recent years,various teaching methods have emerged,and virtual reality technology has begun to approach the field of education and teaching.Virtual reality technology has emerged from the end of the 20 th century and has developed to this day.It has formed a complete scientific system and is gradually accepted by the public.This study applies virtual reality technology to high school art appreciation courses,and is committed to opening up new possibilities for art appreciation teaching.It uses virtual reality equipment to create a virtual appreciation environment,create an immersive appreciation experience,and make up for the shortcomings of traditional appreciation methods.Students appreciate art works from a richer and more diverse perspective in a virtual environment,effectively cultivating the core literacy of the discipline,and guide students to develop innovative thinking habits.At the same time,new appreciation methods can also effectively stimulate students' interest in art appreciation courses to achieve Students appreciate and appreciate art appreciation and learning.This article uses literature methods,comparative analysis methods,interview methods,action research methods and other research methods to understand the research background of the subject,analyze the significance of the research,and explore how to apply virtual reality technology to high school art appreciation courses to provide a theoretical basis for the thesis research.The author explored many virtual reality experience halls in Wuhan and Xiamen on the spot,personally experienced the immersive experience brought by virtual reality,tapped the value and advantages of virtual reality technology applied in high school art appreciation courses,and explored the difference between virtual appreciation classes and traditional appreciation classes.It provides a realistic basis for the selection of virtual reality technology.Through the research on the technical principles of virtual reality technology,equipment selection,appreciation methods of works in different fields,and the construction theory,construction strategy,teaching methods,ability training,etc.of high school art appreciation courses,practical teaching design of art appreciation courses is formulated and Apply it to current high school artappreciation teaching practice.The author has selected two different fields of appreciation courses in the American version of the high school art appreciation textbook,using virtual reality technology to carry out teaching practice and analyzing the effect of teaching practice,so that students can immerse themselves in art appreciation teaching activities,accept multiculturalism,in Learn through experience to enhance aesthetic literacy.With the continuous progress of the times,it has become an inevitable trend for virtual reality technology to enter the traditional classroom.I hope that through this research,problems can be found and laws can be summarized to provide practical teaching experience for future "Internet +" and "VR +" education.Provide certain reference opinions for future art education.
