Writing history textbook has flowered with the newly reformed standards of high school curriculum, which are quite different from the previous styles and rules. While it has brought out innovations to history teaching at junior and senior high schools, it has also exposed the difficulties with the connection of history teaching between junior and senior high schools.Focusing on the history textbooks published by People's Publisher, which have been used in the Linyi area of Shandong Province, this thesis, through comparative study of the goals and contents of history textbooks between junior and high schools, analyzes the issues risen in teaching connection, and suggests certain solutions. In a word, this thesis, from the perspective of a teacher in actual class lectures, explores the teaching connection issues.
