With the deepening of curriculum reform, the meaning of reform mechanism in school becomes more and more serious. How to think, design and plan school reform from the standpoint of a mechanism is an important topic that is virtually worth researching. In this topic, what to focus on especially are the key elements and how they work in the reform mechanism system of school which can provide a basic analytical framework and theoretical support for the construction and improvement of reform mechanismThe research indicates that the features of reform mechanism are chain effect, recursive effect, complex effect, dynamic effect, objective effect dripping with subjective factors. For its structure, the reform mechanism of school consists of reform subject, reform motivation, conducting mechanism, coordinating mechanism, and supporting mechanism, all of the factors are mutually dependant and constrained. For its operational mechanism, reform mechanism can be grouped into three stages:introduction, conversion and enforcement. Every stage is a continuity and transcendency to last stage. Internal correlation, sequential progression and dynamic generation exit during these stages. According to the main reform mechanism, the author divides the school reform into three reform modes:exogenous reform, endogenous reform and combined reform.However, many problems appear during the construction of reform mechanism: vague objectives, decentralized subjects, insufficient dynamics, unreasonable structure and poorly compatibility. As a result, the author suggests that, during the construction of reform mechanism, on one hand, we should apply the method of system theory, clear the objectives of construction, coordinate different group interest, motivate the endogenous impetus, adjust the structure and relationship of the whole mechanism in order to integrate the functions of school reform system which will benefit the school. On the other hand, we should accurately know the "process" of mechanism construction, then reflect and adjust the construction of mechanism continually according to the periodical running features of reform mechanism.
