A Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of High Vocational College Students' Leisure Time Management

As the old saying "we become wisdom when we are at leisure" it tells us we will promote ourselves obviously when we are relaxed. Einstein said that the difference between persons lies in his spare time, certainly if we make good use of leisure time, we will have different life. With the progress of human social development and the change of lifestyle, now we have more leisure time, it has both opportunities and challenges. High vocational college students will be high-quality talents with technical skills after graduation. Strong or weak leisure self management directly affect the quality of leisure life, and it can affect whether students can develop completely, fully and healthy, and whether they will have a dignified life, Even it can affect whether the whole community will develop harmoniously, Because there are relations between their quality of life and social productive forces. Therefore, let high vocational college students have the right time values and leisure time management skills, the guidance of leisure time management has not only educational but also practical significance, It is more important that it has great practical value and social values. Based on the previous studies, I use relevant theories of sociology, pedagogy and management. Using all kinds of methods to read the current situation of high vocational college students'leisure management, and further to explore how they manage their leisure time effectively.By searching reference documents and observing them by myself, I find there are contradictions between the rise of spare time and the lack of management leisure time, so I do a relevant survey, I do the survey at parts of high vocational colleges in Chongqing randomly. With online survey to the students in Hunan Petrochemical Vocational Technical College, I use research methods including interviewing and case studies, I can find the current situations:they have full leisure time; they can not monitor their leisure time effectively; they can not plan their time consciously; they have low time management satisfaction; most of them need the guidance management of their leisure time in college; most students think the leisure time is important, but they have few knowledge about the specific advantages, and the levels are low in leisure activities. I find there are two contradictions:one is between increasing leisure time and lack of management; on the other hand is between plenty of leisure activities and lack of skills in leisure activities. There are three reasons, firstly there are two completely opposite concepts; secondly high vocational colleges don't pay attention to the leisure education, there is not enough education resources in the college; thirdly high vocational college students are weak in the leisure consciousness, they are lack of management skills.According to the current situation of the investigation, I put forward some strategies and recommendations, this study begins with high vocational college, and ends in students'self management of leisure, strengthen the connections among schools, society and families. The objective of leisure education is cultivating the students' consciousness of the leisure management, help them master the method of leisure time management, so high vocational college must develop and use the leisure curriculum, the college should cultivate professional teachers, make a creation about the teaching method, and the college should improve the school environment. High vocational students begin with changing their wrong leisure consciousness, and then they master the skills of leisure management, at last they should strengthen the leisure activities' skills in order to improve the quality of leisure life.
