There have been seven years since "Rural Distance Education Project" which was started in 2003. I participated in this project with other students in 2009 and followed my mentor Professor Wang Jixin to research on "The Modern Distance Education Project of Rural Elementary and Middle Schools ".In more than two years time, I am mainly responsible for making the questionnaire on the subject and part work of the analysis, collecting and analysising other materials, during the course of the project,I have been on-the-spot investigation several times with my mentor and accumulated some experience. As the scope of this study is relatively wide, and the larger data, part of paper data (such as the regional comparison and analysis of "Rural Distance Education Project " in application and development) is completed with the help of other students.First, the paper describes the definition of related concepts ("Hundred Schools", "five years") and the objectives and contents of the research. Most of the data are from the questionnaires of the pilot schools, so the second chapter sets out the design and implementation of the survey. Chapter three describes the Performance Technology model of ISPI's HPT, taking it as the foundation of performance analysis after appropriate modifications based on this model, in reference to other index system of performance analysis in other literature and analyzed the performance factors in the study "Rural Distance Education Project", and the level of each factor based on the structure, designed the index of the performance evaluation for this paper. According to the index to carry out the basic descriptive statistical analysis used the SPSS, which describes the pilot school's basic situation, the development situation of resources and environment as well as teachers' professional knowledge and vocational skills. With Analysis of Variance and Crosstabs to compare and analysis the differences among regions. With AHP to analysis the overall project. Use a variety of analytical methods makes the statistical analysis of data be more objective and accurate. Through the data from on-the-spot investigation, the collected teachers' Classroom Record, Teaching design, Teaching summary and reflection, Relevant records of teachers and other students to analysis to find out the significant problems in the process of "Rural Distance Education Project"in application and development. Find out the solutions to these problems. Finally summary the study, statement the deficiencies in the process of the research to obtain improved.
