| Different natural and human environment make people live and think differently. During the passage of time, it is condensed into a regional cultural characteristics, or "local culture ". China has a tradition of local culture education. With the promulgation of Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial), the three courses of education make the links between local culture and school-based curriculum development possibly. The school-based curriculum development about local culture in Chinese course can make up for the lack of state Chinese course, enhance the influence of campus culture and broaden students' language learning space. In the process of curriculum development, the law of Chinese education, the importance of the student experience and the integrate with other disciplines should be considered carefully.In the paper, the writer inosculated both Skilbeck and Thomas'school-based curriculum development process and makes school-based curriculum development in Chinese divided into the preparation stage, the practice stage and evaluation stage. Combined with existing development case, the paper had a systematic arrangement of the feasibility of the curriculum development, the establishment of curriculum development working group, the set of curriculum objectives, curriculum content selection and organization, the compilation of teaching materials and the evaluation and Reflection for the course.On the other hand, this paper also discussed the current problems in the school-based curriculum development about local culture and prospected the future of school-based curriculum development in China. |
