The Current Teaching Situation And Countermeasuers Study Of Martail Arts In Senior High Of Kaifeng

Martial arts are heritages of traditional Chinese culture. It became a kind of traditional Chinese culture not only resulted in the close relationship between them, but also because the pragmatism and rationalism which derived from Chinese people and put all the fields of things in human perspective. Therefore, Chinese people can absorb nutrients from Chinese mainstream and traditional culture consciously in order to enrich martial arts. The close relationship between martial arts and traditional Chinese culture made the courses of martial arts nowadays became a supplement to traditional education in high schools. Martial arts in one hand played an important role in arousing the national consciousness of the students, in the other hand, it is an important way to enhance the identity and cohesion of traditional culture.In this paper, the research object is the teaching of martial arts in senior high schools in Kaifeng. From investigations, the factors which influenced the teaching of martial arts in senior high schools are: First, the teachers of high schools could not meet the needs of the students who want to learn martial arts; Second, the content of martial arts teaching are very casual; Third, the playground and equipments of martial arts teaching are in lack. Last, the leaders of high schools do not pay enough attention on martial arts. The Countermeasures are: First of all, organize regular training and put the courses of martial arts and the internship of traditional sports major students together; Second, enrich the contents of teaching; Third, put the ethics and manners of martial arts in teaching; Last, held martial arts competition among high schools regularly.This paper make some suggestions to improving the teaching of martial arts in high schools and hope to giving some references to the government of Kaifeng.
