In the 1970s, cooperative study sprung up in America. It made a substantial development from the middle of 1970s to the middle of 1980s. Cooperative study has remarkable impression on improving the atmosphere in the class, enhancing the academic performance of students and improving the formation of good character of students. Therefore cooperative study is recognized and concerned by the world rapidly. Meanwhile, it becomes a reformational bright spot in China. At the end of 1980s, China started to research and test cooperative study, and achieved tangible results.Today is a competitive society; it is also a cooperative society. Cooperation will become the mainstream of the era. Including solving international problems or personal life, study and work all needs interpersonal communication, cooperation and help. In the teaching process, it is very meaningful and imperative to enhance the cooperative education and cooperative consciousness.The author found that the situation of physics teaching in the middle vocational school is not optimistic. Students are not very interested in physics study now. although middle vocational school is testing the new curriculum reform, but many teachers have not understood the concept of new curriculum reform. The formalism cannot fundamentally satisfy the needs of the development of students'abilities, therefore through this research author hope to change the status quo of middle vocational physics teaching, to stimulate students'learning interest, to improve students'physical academic performance, to strengthen the cooperative sense of students, to cultivate students'learning ability, to cooperative ability and analysis ability, to promote the all-round development of students.Students'leaning ability and receptivity in the middle vocational school are very weak, their foundation is relatively poor, and they are active and excitable. Firstly, the paper will discuss the necessity and meaning of developing cooperative study based on the training target of middle vocational school and the features of middle vocational students. Secondly, through the technical literature study, this paper will expounds the theoretical background of this study, including the cooperative study, the validity of cooperative study, the theoretical foundation of cooperative study and the characteristics of middle vocational physics. Besides, combined with actual situation author will talk about the feasibility of developing cooperative study in middle vocational physics leaning. Thirdly, author will try to find out factors of influencing the cooperative efficiency through reaching the middle vocational students'and teachers'questionnaire, interview and result analysis, and thus to seek out the teaching strategy about cooperative study for middle vocational teachers. Then put the theoretical knowledge into practice. Author does some experimental study in the physics class through adopting comparative classes and experimental classes. Through comparing the academic performance of comparative classes and experimental classes, and researching the interview record of experimental students, author also proves that the cooperative study not only could raise the academic performance of middle vocational students, but also could stimulate the students'interest in study of physics, change the study method, improve students'interpersonal skills and cooperative ability, etc. Finally, author finds out the deficiency existing in the research, and to provide some suggestions for further research on the cooperative study.
