In morden world,with the rapid development of science and technology and new knowledge updating faster,One cannot acquire all the knowledge from school,so a lot of knowledge must be obtained from the society by themselves.Therefore,what is most important is to teach them how to learn by themselves.Then,an extremely effective way is to cultivate the students'self-regulated learning,also,this is the requirement of new curriculum reform. On the basis of theoretical analysis, several questionnaires on students'self-regulated learning were made up. And these questionnaires were conducted on senior1 and senior2 in key school and ordinary school in our city.we analysed the results and drew the following conclusion:the level of the students' self-regulated learning is not high.There are distinguished differences between different schools and between students of different level.On the contrary,there are few differences between different grades and between different sex.Thus,this report discussed why the phenomena arose and put forward some suggestions on how to cultivate and improve students' self-regulated learning.For example,motivating students to learn,teaching students the strategy of self-regulated learning,cultivating the atmosphere of self-regulated learning, changing the teaching methods and so on.I hope it can be of some use to those who work on biology teaching.
