| To foster the education of applied undergraduate talents is the primary task of local universities in the background of popularization of Chinese higher education. According to features of engineering education, local engineering universities should build a student-centered opening and sharing platform of laboratory based on their educating features and goals, along with regional advantages, which solves the problem of lack of local universities'experimental teaching resources and of using efficiency, moreover elevates competence of students' engineering practice and job-hunting. The study explores operating mechanisms unblocking traditional concepts that obstruct sharing labs, optimism of experimental teaching resources and new mode of local engineering universities'laboratories construction from practical experience and teaching achievement.There're 5 sections within the study. The first one discusses necessity and feasibility of building opening and sharing platform of laboratories starting from local engineering universities'goals of cultivating talents in the background of popularization of higher education, studies systematically current domestic and overseas researches on such subjects through literature searches, and defines the connotation of opening and sharing platform of laboratories. The second section provides theoretical support to opening and sharing platform of laboratories through analysis of institutional restricting factors of opening and sharing platform of laboratories in local engineering universities, its practical problems and reasons for its existence. The third section mainly discusses designing concepts, policy and measures, and efficiency analysis of opening and sharing platform of laboratories in local engineering universities in a case study of measures and effects in constructing opening and sharing platform of laboratories in Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Moreover, through collecting materials through surveys, analyzing representative problems, summarizing and reflecting, new mode of opening and sharing platform of laboratories construction has been explored. The fourth section searches for basic structure and constructing thoughts from 4 aspects of ideas, basic conditions, contents of goals and mode designs, proposes the design of opening and sharing platform of laboratories from 7 modules of establishment of management system, multiple funding ways, opening courses and projects, faculty construction, integrating and sharing resources, utilizing experimental achievement and constructing information platform, which aims to provide practical references for local engineering universities implementing opening and sharing platform of laboratories and foster applied undergraduate talents in the background of popularized education. In section five, conclusion has been reached that it is feasible to construct opening and sharing platform of laboratories so as to foster the education of applied undergraduate talents in local engineering universities and it is a step-by-step process to build such platform, hence there are many problems should be thought over and dealt with. |
