The main psychological character of young children is visual image which is the main perception of young children, that is, young children's all activities are based on image. Currently, visual image as the main visual culture around us everyday. For instance, advertising, packaging, children's book all has their image in television. It has impacted children's daily life tremendously. Art education implement integrate activities as the core theme in early childhood. For one hand, it consistent with the concept of phase two, for another hand, it highlight the function of art teaching.The art teaching as the core theme-based integrated activities with the contents of various disciplines to promote children thinking and taking emotional expression. It plays an irreplaceable role. To carry out the "Art teaching as the core thematic activity for young children", which can be highlighted the special features of teaching art from the psychological character of young children.In chapter one, for the core curriculum thematic status of integrated activities, outline comprehensive comparison young children's art study. From art teaching as the core which integrated early childhood theme-based curriculum activities to demonstrate survey in art teaching. By using survey for examples and demonstrate the art teaching in kindergarten is necessary.In chapter two, for the core curriculum thematic development of integrated activities, first, use recourses within and outside to develop early childhood art education as the core theme-based integrated activities. And then, course development of art teaching's objective, content, method and strategy to reflect the value of this as the core theme-based integrated curriculum activity.In chapter three, put forward in art teaching as the core theme-based integrated curriculum activity, design case related to this activity, and then through the instructional design, teaching process to demonstrate and find the difference, finally find solutions and take action for this research.In chapter four, to reflect on the problems and look for the future of the art education as the core theme-based integrated curriculum activity, meanwhile, point out the direction for further research.
