From the beginning of the reform and open policy, especially from establishing the socialist market economy in the 1990s, various of economic entities are springing up, the society is calling for elites in diverse occupations, and education is varying in different formats.In China as the economy is developing with a high speed and the science and technology is being greatly boosted nowadays, there are more and more voices calling for the positions with high technological skills and being very practical. At the same time, in order to improve citizens'educational backgrounds and to achieve the universality of higher education among Chinese, based on these scenarios, Advanced Vocational Education (AVE) is developing very quickly. In China, AVE's development began late (since 1980), and is largely influenced by the traditional education concepts, thus the physical education programs of AVE have not finished the innovation on Curriculum Structures according to their characteristics, and have not formed a curriculum structure mode with distinctive characteristics either. This impedes the development of Physical education of AVE as well as the achievement of goal on Physical education of AVE.This essay mainly used literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and other research methods to conduct the researches on the Common Physical Education Curriculums in some high colleges and universities in Shanghai,and to analyze the research results from the aspects of curriculum goals, term of courses, content of courses, organization form, performance review system, group of teachers, equipments and so on.Based on the academic research and practical investigation, we draw the following conclusions:â… .The guiding ideology of AVE's guiding ideology and education system is different from its educational objectives, and the curriculum structures does not count in the special characteristics of AVE.â…¡.The term of physical courses are short for students to take, and the curriculum structures are not well designed.â…¢.The content of courses are not diversified nor flexible, and the new program cannot be easily merged into physical courses.â…£. It pays more attention on the final grade and rating of students, and ignores the formality rating of students, and it leads to the facts that some students do not attend physical courses positively.â…¤. Gyms and other equipments of physical education have not reached the national standards, and cannot meet the need of students on physical practices. In view of the existing situation of common physical curriculum structures in some Shanghai universities, and in combination with guide ideology of "education on lifelong sports" and "health first", some suggestions are provided for the common physical curriculum structures in Shanghai universities:â… .Taking the characteristics of the curriculum structures into account, paying more attention to the students' vocational and practical physical trainings, and enhancing students'vocational physical trainings that could match their future professions.â…¡.Innovating the current courses teaching mode.The overall mode would be designed as:General Physical Education+Vocational Physical Education.â…¢.The content of the curriculum structures should be extensive, optional,as well as practical.â…£. Building up multiple evaluating indexes and using multiple assessments methods. Not only being concerned about the outcomes of the education, but also paying attention to the assessments and ratings in the process of education.â…¤. PE teachers should be passionate in their jobs, promote their professional achievements and accomplishments, and have the PE courses functioned well.â…¥.Relevant administrative departments should increase the funding and expenditure on physical education institutions equipments and other facilities, and provide good accommodation and environmental conditions for the students and teachers.
