Sustainable Development In Tibet Mountaineering

Since the era of reforming and opening up, mountaineering has become a fashion in our country, especially in Tibet, where the mountaineering attracts attention from the whole world. Mountaineering in Tibet made remarkable progress, but there are still some problems need to be thought about and solved for the sake of future development. The problems existed as follows: mountaineering goes on a low level generally; management system is invalid; personnel training capacity is comparatively weak; the environment protection is neglected. All the problems constrained the development of mountaineering in Tibet. So we have to reform the management system, improve the operation system and emphasize the importance of training Backup Talents, which also meets the requirement of sustainable development strategy.This article starts with the developing process of mountaineering in Tibet, including its beginning, spreading and developing, which shows the inevitability of mountaineering in Tibet. It boosts not only the athletics mountaineering, but also the masses mountaineering for common people. Multiple research methods, such as documents retrieval, experts interviewing, field investigation, logic analysis, questionnaires and mathematical statistics, were applied in this article, which lead to a comprehensive and reliable conclusion about the current situation and significance of the mountaineering development in Tibet, and some reasonable suggestions were proposed.Mountaineering in Tibet is going quite well and differs from that in other districts. They lack funds and theoretical knowledge, the structures of trainers and trainees are too unitary, the safety insurance system is questionable and the mountaineerers take great burden psychologically, but Tibet enjoys unique natural environment, geographical advantage and colorful Tibetan culture, so mountaineering in Tibet means a lot to itself and our country.During the twelfth five-year plan, mountaineering in Tibet need a watchful eye of the government, both the central and the local, and the whole society. It calls for funds supporting, athletics'capacity improving, backup talents training, management system reforming and theoretical knowledge learning.Mountaineering in Tibet has made great achievements and honorable reputation, which can not be denied; it bears some problems and perplexities, which can not be denied either. The problems differ a lot, some are controllable and others are not; some are left over from history and others emerge at the present stage. They hinder in the way of mountaineering development in Tibet, so this article, based on the practical research, presents some solutions, and cherish a good will of being helpful for mountaineering, not only in Tibet, but also in other districts, and for the further sustainable development of mountaineering in our country.
