| In the process of general education in primary and middle school in China, how the new curriculum standards are implemented specifically has aroused the most wide-spread attention from all walks of life in recent years. The most extensively discussed topic, which also gives rise to the most profound disagreements, is the general plan and effect of implementing optional course in senior middle school. The highlight and focus of this reform are concentrated on the specific implementation of Chinese optional course. The significance of this reform spearheaded by Chinese optional course lies in two facts: on one hand, it has such a guiding principle: establishing a new and broad platform where the students can express themselves independently and develop themselves freely; on the other hand, it focuses on and tries to accomplish the new difference and the wide range of choice of diversity in Chinese education and teaching itself. Given the vital importance of this pioneering reform, we should spare no effort to explore these following urgent issues which need to be solved immediately: how to specifically implement each goal of optional course in educating and teaching students and achieve the overall goal of Chinese teaching.This paper specifically focuses on the study of Chinese optional course in senior middle school in the context of new curriculum standards. It conducts this study mainly through the combining method of theory summary and survey analysis, which would properly monitor the strategy, process and concrete effects of implementing this optional course. It is hoped that the main problems in optional course teaching can be pointed out directly based on related study and some constructive suggestions will be given after scientific and reasonable analysis. This paper also aims to bring the selectivity, diversity and expansibility of optional course into full play and develop new optional courses which can conform to the Chinese subject itself, showcase the students'interests and help achieve social development.This paper mainly focuses on the following aspects: the background of putting forward Chinese optional course, the theoretical basis of Chinese optional course teaching, the teaching practice of Chinese optional course in No. 1 senior middle school, the relationship between Chinese compulsory course and optional course, a few misunderstandings in Chinese optional course and the main teaching methods in Chinese optional course, etc. It analyzes and expounds a series of problems in current Chinese optional course. Meanwhile, it gives its own opinion and suggestions. This paper has a positive understanding when analyzing the relationship between optional courses & compulsory courses and college entrance examination and the implementing strategy of optional courses. This paper can elaborate the problems in a proper way and conduct profound reflection from the viewpoint of teaching practice. Therefore, it possesses a good sense of study. |
