| University counselors are an important component of university faculty, the backbone of moral education and ideological and political education, providing guidance and insights for the healthy development of university students. The strengthening of ideological and political education at universities and colleges imposes higher demands on the work of university counselors. The professionalization of university counselors is to be imperative under the circumstance that universities and colleges are to cultivate the true constructors and successors of socialization in our country.Taking as guidance literature on ideological and political education published by the Party Central Committee, this thesis makes a primary study on the professionalization of university counselors by applying the basic theories of ideological and political education.This thesis consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the purpose, the significance, the present research situations, the structure and the main manners of the study. Chapter 2 presents the connotation and significance of the professionalization of university counselors. Chapter 3 analyzes the main problems and the main causes of these problems. Chapter 4 discusses the ways of professionalizing university counselors from different perspectives including changing counselors'working concepts and optimizing the team structure of counselors. |
