With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the material living level of human society has greatly improved on the whole and the health conditions of the human race has also improved. But the method of modern production and the modern living style cause the reduction of physical activities and the increase of mental pressure, which is menacing the human health day by day. "The Decision on Deepening Educational Reform and Carrying out Overall Quality-oriented Education by Central Committee of CPC and the State Council " issued by the Third National Education Conference in June, 1999 pointed out,"Healthy physique is the precondition for young people to serve the people and their motherland. It is the embodiment of vigorous life force of the Chinese nationality. To implement quality-oriented education, moral education, intellectual education, physical education, aesthetic education must be brought into every link of educational activities." Therefore, the education without physical education or aesthetic education is not perfect education. In 2009, new curriculum reform began to be implemented in Heber Province. As for the P.E reform, the course of "PE and health" emphasizes its basic, practical and comprehensive character, which incarnates the view of health and the function of cultivating people. In this way, the course will be beneficial to foster students' sport hobbies and special skills as well as the persistence of their physical training habit, promote their proper and harmonious development of their body, mentality and adaptive ability to the existing society.Against this social background, and based on previous research theory on Chinese dance, Latin dance and callisthenics, and consulting a lot of books on pedagogics, exercitation, psychology, physiology and research achievement of Chinese scholars and experts, this research task, by investigation and experiments, aims at discovery of the influence of such body-building exercises on the body and mind of girl students in middle period of their school education, also aims at drawing the conclusion of how such body-building exercises differently influence girls' carriage and physical growth as well as their mental development, in order that such PE body-building exercises that all the students love can be put into a module of new attractive PE course and be brought into the PE course system in elementary and secondary schools. Therefore the PE classes of elementary and secondary schools can be enriched, the time and interest of physical exercises of elementary and secondary school students can be increased, the emotion of strain can be adjusted and the mental pressure can be relieved. This article adopts teaching experimental method. The objects of the experiment are preadolescent girls (80). They were divided into four groups: the group of Chinese dance, the group of Latin dance, the group of calisthenicsand the group for comparison. Before the experiment, the same character of each object was checked. After ten months of experiment, their physical quality was tested twice, once before the experiment and once after the experiment. The data of every item of physical quality were obtained. Then questionnaire was made to see how the students like the course that they were taught and what achievement they have got from the course that they learned. Finally, the analysis and comparison were made and drew the following conclusion:1. All the three items of Chinese dance, Latin dance and callisthenics have positive effect on relieving students' study pressure and mental strain, fostering cooperative and team spirit and self-confidence.2. According to the characteristics of each item, the group of Chinese dance has increased their flexibility, Latin dance has protruding function of training students' expressive ability, self-confidence and cooperative ability. Callisthenicshas function on every aspect, but obviously on increasing their strength.3. Girls at the age of 9 - 13 are sensitive in their body growth. Their bones grow faster than their muscles. If they are not properly trained, their flexibility will rapidly decline, harmful carriage will obviously increase with their age.4.
