Chinese reading teaching covers a large proportion of Chinese teaching in senior high school, so how to improve the teaching efficiency in Chinese reading teaching in classroom has been the difficulty which Chinese teachers have paid lots of attention to. After thinking, I choose preview strategy as the breakthrough of Chinese reading course.With the advance of the new curriculum reform, there are various Chinese teaching materials, and changes also take place in Chinese teaching. Besides, the new curriculum shows the new way of Chinese reading course, that is, we should focus on the improvement of students'reading ability. All above require us to change the traditional teaching method of reading course. However, the problems in reading course, such as, the loss of student self-consciousness, and the singleness of teachers'understanding of the text, do harm to the development of students'reading ability. From what we have talked above, I bring preview strategy to the Chinese reading class. Through the investigation of the charactertistic of the text, student,and teacher, I nail down the principles, aims,and contents of the preparation teaching process. I also put forward my views about the processes of preparation, designing, and evaluation in the preview strategy teaching.The paper contains four parts.Chapter one:the reasons why we put forward preview strategy in Chinese reading teaching. Based on the present situation of senior high students' reading ability and the problems exit in the Chinese reading teaching, this chapter states the importance and necessity of preview strategy.Chapter two:the content and basis of preview strategy in reading in class. This chapter presents the definition of preview strategy in the reading course, and the theory basis of preview strategy, which mainly contains these aspects, such as receptional aesthetic, constructivism, and dialogue theory. Chapter three:the summary of preview strategy in Chinese reading course in senior high school under the background of new curriculum. This chapter presents the aims, contents, and the elements that influence preview strategy in reading, including intelligence factors and non-intelligence factors.Chapter four:the application of preview strategy in Chinese reading cousre in senior high school under the background of new curriculum. This chapter presents the princilples and operations of preview strategy in reading course.The research shows that if we follow the objective law of teaching, provide the very contents for preview strategy, and choose proper evaluation strategy, preview strategy will surely improve the teaching efficiency of the class, develop students'reading ability, and meanwhile do good to teachers' teaching level.
