A Study On The Community Volunteer Service In China City

As the rapid development of rural urbanization and gradual transformation of government function, the community volunteer service has been changed into one of the most important organization of the community public services. It plays an essential role in satisfying people's basic needs, resolving social disputes, and inspiring the social outlook. At the same time, it builds a strong foundation for a harmonious society. However, as a part of community service, some defects exist in the community volunteer service. The dissertation chooses the city community volunteer service as the research object basing on the theory of community plural construction and attempting to explore how the government t form partnership with community volunteer organization in the background of constructing a harmonious society, sharp the social transformation and blooming various needs of cities in order to make full uses of community volunteer service and make it effectively integrate with community resources, become the bridge of government, grassroots communities' autonomous organizations and the public, as well as serve as the approach for graduates' employment and the strong weapon of solving implicit disputes to play an important role in the process of constructing harmonious society.The dissertation explores the developmental background and process of Chinese community volunteer organization in details and concludes the common dilemma and particular problems that community volunteer organization has to face at the present time. Moreover, the author provides some primary measures for community volunteer service in the end of the dissertation, that is, constantly promoting citizen's spiritual civilization, fostering community volunteer service consciousness, actively perfecting related laws and regulations, comprehensively promoting the policy system of community volunteer development, making clear the role of government in community service, strengthening community volunteer service self-construction, finally strengthening community construction and optimizing community volunteer service living space.
