Since the 20th century nationalism has been one of the most important ideological trends affecting to the international politics. As the world superpower, US has the important status and the influence in the international politics. As the core of US nationalism, the democracy and free values has produced the important influence to the US democracy policy. At the same time, the Sino-U. S. relation has been decisive position in the international politics. Therefore, the main body of the article comes to treat the American policy towards China from the nationalism angle of view.The main body of the article adopt five chapters structure.The first chapter has been introduced the current situation and the significance of the USA Nationalism problem which influencd the policy on China's problem.The second chapter mainly traces the formation evolution of the US nationalism from the historical angle, and sums up its characteristics. The third chapter analyses its characteristics how to affect American policies and performance on China from US nationalism, seeking the law among them. The forth chapter is aimed at US nationalism effect, making the concrete measures that our country.answers deeply on the ground of concrete conditions of our country. The fifth chapter is concluding and predicting.
