The Elements Study Of Harmonious Social Virtue Reconstruction

The new concept of the harmonious society was proposed in the 4th plenary session of the 16th central committee. It is essential for the virtue to realize the harmonious unification in the humanity and the nature, in the humanity and the society, in the human being and its own spiritual life. The rules and the systems were insufficient to construct a harmonious society; we must take the excellent virtues as the support. The reasonable ingredient of the traditional morals is regarded as the Chinese nation's valuable moral resource. However, limitations of history and social class were founded in the good faith in the traditional morals which was different to the demands of the modern market economy. It is urgent to construct a new virtue which will be harmonious to the modern social development. Because a reasonable explanation and proper disposal can not be given in the traditional virtue structure concerning the new question, the new relations and the new value produced by the rapid development of market, currency, expense, science and technology and so on. Some factors and thought were analyzed and proposed in this dissertation about the reconstruction of the Chinese characteristic citizen morality by analyzing the present society actuality. This paper was composed of following four parts.The basis and the significance of the selected subject were elaborated in Part I, and the innovative ideas and the difficulties confronted with in the work were also discussed in this part.The relations between the virtue reconstruction and the harmonious society's construction were expounded in the Part II based on analyzing the implication about virtue and virtue reconstruction, proceeding with the significant effect in the harmonious society and the necessity of virtue to the virtue reconstruction.The traditional virtue limitations were mainly analyzed in the Part III. The causes weresystemized and deduced by analyzing the merits and demerits of modern social virtue. The principles, contents and implementation methods of virtue reconstruction were gradually proposed and put into practice based on the construction and operation in harmonious society, which were discussed in detail in Part IV as following:(1)The principles were adopted in the virtue reconstruction mainly concerning with the basis of "People-oriented" principle,opening principle, inheriting principle and time principle.(2)It was the social virtue, the culture virtue, the economic virtue and the natural virtue that constituted the content of the virtue reconstruction.(3)Disproportionate method, dye method and practice molding method were put into effect in the implementation of the virtue reconstruction.
