The Study Of Some Issues On The Influence Of Speedup On Rail Transportation Supply

With the development of the market economy in China, our rail transportation is now faced up with the increasing double pressure of demand in quantity and quality. In order to find solutions to this bottleneck problem in rail transportation, rail management authorities are reconstructing the existing lines, accelerating the pace of reformation, optimizing the collocation of the transportation supply resources and all the developing plans are implemented with great efficiency and speed.At present, however, it is more difficult than ever to add to the already-overloaded transportation capacity different kinds and levels of trains, produced in the process of speedup, which ask for different operating conditions in transportation arrangement, track power, etc. So the great influence of speedup on the conventional modules in the supply of rail transportation has made the situations in speedup very complicated. In this thesis, studies of this influence are made, as well as some issues of how to make good use of rail transportation system resources, and some conclusions are also drawn.In the first place, based on the uncertain queuing theory, analysis is made on the influence on railroad capacity of the total behind-schedule time, the ration of the same kinds of train groups and the average least interval of the train. Combined with the popular computer-based simulation method used to calculate the range of deduction index, it comes to the conclusion about how the train interval and the rational proportion between the speed of passenger and freight train have effects on capacity. At the mean time, using risk analysis method, a economical model is established suitable to rail transportation companies, and two strategies of guard and adventure are put forward. In the second place, on the basis of the concept of the adaptability of rail transportation and economics, it is proposed that the basic theory of adaptability analysis -- barrel theory.
