Study On The Strategies Of Sustainable Development Of Flue-cured Tobacco Production In Guiyang City

Tobacco is the base of development of tobacco industry and its fundamental status is becoming more and more dominant with the expanding of famous cigarette band and the recombination of tobacco enterprises in our country. As a component of agricultural economic, the principles of sustainable development should be followed in tobacco production. So the way of sustainable development of tobacco production must be went through by China tobacco industry in order to face the challenges from WHO and WTO and keep pace with the life theme of good environment and health nowadays. The meaning of sustainable development of Chinese tobacco production is to produce plenty and high quality tobacco leaf to meet the demand for resources of Chinese cigarette production now and in the future under scientific, reasonable and effective use of natural resources, protecting environment and improving ecological harmony of production area. The objectives are realizing the balance between supply and demand of tobacco leaf by stabilizing the planting scale, realizing the reasonable use of natural resources and ensuring the protection and improvement of environment, and ensuring enhancement the quality and usability of tobacco leaf.Based on the analysis and evaluation of ecological environment, natural resources, agricultural industry structure, status of infrastructure and management, flue-cured tobacco quality, change of tobacco crop composition and allocation, quality of technological personals and tobacco farmer, system of invest and service and so on, the restriction factors were founded and the countermeasures were put forwarded for sustainable development of tobacco production in Guiyang city in the present paper.
