| The present settlement system for retired military officers in China, based on"Interim measures for resettlement of demobilized officers"promulgated in 2001, proposes the resettlement system of implementing the combination of government arrangement and the retired military officers choosing jobs for themselves. Through research on retired military officers'satisfaction with government arrangement, we can exactly know the retired military officers'requirement and discuss which aspects of settlement system are unsatisfied and need improving to facilitate to propose more targeted measures and suggestions of great significance.Firstly, the related concepts of retired military officers, government arrangement, and satisfaction are interpreted in this paper. Based on analyzing the theory and situation of study both from domestic and abroad , by comprehensive use of questionnaire, interview method,the qualitative and quantitative research method,this paper performs research on the retired military officers satisfaction with government arrangement. Taking Changsha city for example and based on expert's advice,this paper designs questionnaires of retired military officers'satisfaction with the government arrangement.After the questionnaires are issued and returned,on the premise of the reliability and validity,the data is arranged and statistically analyzed. Moreover, the validity of the structure of the new government arrangement questionnaire is checked by using confirmatory factor analysis.The research result indicates that the retired military officers'satisfaction with the government arrangement in China can be divided into three dimensions, which includes satisfaction with jobs, society support and income. In the city of Changsha, the retired military officers'satisfaction with the government arrangement is not met enough. Parts of personal attributes influence on the retired military officers'satisfaction with the government arrangement factors. Finally,according to the research result, it is proposed targeted advices on promoting the retired military officers'satisfaction with the government arrangement. |
